Three hop-on hop-off bus routes gave us good coverage of the city |
One of the best things to do when you are in a new city - for us at least, is to hop on the hop-on hop-off bus/s and that is exactly what we did. In fact we spent most of the day traveling around the three routes (twice in some cases) in and out of rain. My camera ran hot trying to get a taste of the city - it's a mish-mash of buildings, windows, doors, shutters, streets, people, alleyways and arches, towers and gutters, old and new, grand and impoverished. Many of the pix are slanted because they've been taken out the window as the bus has rushed past. This post shows our morning explorations.
